Streamlight Tlr 7 Hellcat

Streamlight, a notable flashlight and firearm accessory brand for 45 years has released a number of new items, but these are our favorites from SHOT Show 2022. Clearly, Streamlight has been listening to its customers, because these devices are evidence of real tests and usage.

TLR-7 Sub for Springfield Armory Hellcat
Golden Bullseye award winner and a nine worth knowing about, the Hellcat now has its own Streamlight TLP-7 sub. This rail mounted light features ambidextrous rear switches that allow the shooter to alternate between a narrow 500-lumen beam for 1.5 hours and a strobe function. The powerful light emanating from just below the muzzle gives off a strong and steady light source that can reach up to 141 meters while maintaining just enough peripheral illumination. The TLR-7 sub is ultra-lightweight and has a low-profile design to prevent any snagging. The best part is that there are no tools required to install and remove the device via the rail clamp system. Your hands never have to cross the muzzle and you can even replace the batteries without removing the light. In the spirit of saving battery, the TLR-7 also offers a safe-off feature so it can’t accidentally be turned on during transport. Now your home- or self-defense Hellcat is ready for anything.

TLR-6 for Taurus GX4 Micro-Compact
Taurus’s GX4 series has incurred a lot of positive feedback—if you need five reasons to check it out, start here. And now there’s more to love because the micro-compact GX4 can sport a Streamlight TLR-6. This pistol mounted light has not only a 100-lumen light capable of reaching 89 meters and running for one hour, but also a laser that can last 11 hours on its own. An aiming laser is a huge advantage when using your firearm in an unconventional shooting position. The device is attached to the trigger guard and ambidextrous side switches allow the shooter to control the light and laser. With the use of a parabolic reflector, the TLR-6 provides a balance of beam and peripheral illumination. The shooter is also able to adjust windage and elevation screws to ensure a reliable zero retention for the laser. Upgrade your GX4 so you’re ready for any defensive situation.

Pocket Mate
It might be small, but it is mighty. Streamlight’s new USB rechargeable keychain light produces up to 350 lumens reaching 76 meters. There is also a low setting of 45 lumens which will run for up to an hour. However, when your battery is running low, all you have to do is recharge the device with a handy USB cable. The Pocket Mate can attach to a keychain, zipper, hat brim or any other place you can think of for hands-free lighting on the go. Convenient, strong and tiny, you’ll never want to be without it.

Wedge Slim Flashlight
No EDC kit is complete without a flashlight. The Wedge is purposefully designed to be a slim and seamless addition to any pocket or bag. The lightweight, ergonomic design, complete with wrist strap, fits anywhere for powerful light whenever you need it. The 300-lumen light will run for three hours, and a newly implemented THRO (Temporary Heightened Regulated Output) mode will provide 1,000 lumens for 35 seconds. This EDC flashlight is also USB rechargeable. A green light behind the switch indicates a full charge, and the light begins to blink red when battery levels drop. When the light is a constant red, it’s time for a charge. Even the charging port was well-thought out. It’s waterproof so there’s no pesky cap for you to lose! The clip can also be mounted on either side of the light for optimal use by right- or left-handed owners. This smart and skinny flashlight will provide you with peace of mind and preparedness whenever you go.
