Hornady recently donated $56,138.50 to the GRACE Cancer Foundation in Grand Island, Nebraska, with a matching amount going to the American Cancer Society, for a total donation of $112,277 split evenly between the two organizations.
Through this initiative, Hornady has now donated more than $1 million over the last several years through a joint contribution to the GRACE Cancer Foundation and the American Cancer Society.
“We are so grateful to Hornady for their continued support of the GRACE Cancer Foundation,” said Sarah Koch, Executive Director of GRACE Cancer Foundation. “With over $600,000 generously donated from Hornady since 2013, we have been able to help so many local cancer patients and their families, we are incredibly thankful for their partnership, support, and belief in the mission of the GRACE Cancer Foundation,” she added.
The donation was calculated using a portion of each box sold of Hornady Critical Defense Lite ammunition in 9mm and 38 Special. Critical Defense Lite features a pink bullet tip and pink ribbon packaging to help showcase the fight against cancer.
