The perfect affordable hunt for novice and veteran hunters alike, the 5th Annual Ladies Adventure Camp Experience (LACE) will take place from Nov. 11-14, 2021 at the Hawks Double Mountain Ranch (HDMR) located outside of Rotan, Texas.

Here ladies will have the opportunity to hunt hogs and whitetail doe (rifle only), with the option of utilizing one of the ranch’s many blinds or engaging in an exciting “spot and stalk” hunt.

The official details can be found at babeswithbullets.com/lace, but cost for the hunt is listed as $850 per person with an additional $100 per hog and $150 per whitetail doe (paid directly to the ranch). A whitetail tag is $48; no tag is needed to hunt hogs in Texas. There is a also a variety of exotic game available on site—Red Stag, Oryx or Bison. Hunters can arrange to hunt the exotics with camp coordinator Deb Ferns, with fees paid directly to the ranch.

Lodge accommodations offer spacious bedrooms and several full bathrooms. Private cabins off the lodge are available at an additional charge (paid directly to the ranch.) Wild game fare is served for dinner; breakfast and lunch are hearty but casual.

Space for this event is limited to 10, and prospective hunters are reminded to ensure they have a valid Hunter Education card before then. Many states are offer online courses, and the card is transferrable to hunt in any state—valid for life!

Attendees will meet at the Rotan Dairy Queen at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 11, and caravan 30 minutes back to the ranch. Hunting days are Friday and Saturday with departure on Sunday morning, Nov. 14. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity!
