Team Winchester member and International Skeet shooter Dania Vizzi claimed silver at the recent 2023 USA Shooting National Championships in the Women’s Skeet event. This event served as the first portion of a pair of Olympic trials to determine who will represent Team USA at the 2024 Olympics in Paris, France.

Vizzi was consistent throughout the entire match in claiming the silver medal, an important step toward a hopeful Olympic Team bid. During the middle of the match Vizzi shot four perfect rounds in a row, an impressive feat in International Skeet where targets fly significantly faster than the American game. Vizzi rounded out the weekend with a 148/150 for a total score of 242/250, tying with teammate Austen Smith who pulled off the win during a shoot off to conclude the event.

“Dania Vizzi is an extreme competitor in the game of International Skeet and she’s clearly shooting at a high level,” said Jason Gilbertson, director of marketing for Winchester. “We congratulate her on this strong performance at the 2023 National Championships and look forward to watching her compete around the world this year.”

Dania Vizzi has been a long-time member of Team Winchester in International Skeet competitions around the globe and plays a significant role as an ambassador of the shooting sports. Vizzi’s ammunition of choice is a unique Winchester AA® load designed specifically to meet ISSF (International Shooting Sports Federation) rules. The 24-gram payload of 9-shot travels 1,325 feet per second and carries the hardest shot built to crush the toughest targets.
