Honoring our Heroes Through Folds of Honor

Melissa Bachman shares her message of appreciation—along with other members of Team Winchester—to our fallen heroes and their families.

Winchester recently announced a $125,000 pledge to the Folds of Honor Foundation, and as a member of Team Winchester I’m extremely proud to help spread the good news.

It’s not only the heroes on the battlefield that have paid the ultimate sacrifice, but their families as well. Folds of Honor provides educational scholarships to the spouses and children of fallen or disabled service members. You may have noticed the Winchester USA Valor collection of ammunition on shelves with the patriotic packaging, but it goes above and beyond that. Winchester is celebrating its commitment to American freedom with this limited-edition collection of military inspired ammunition.

Winchester has proudly supported the U.S. military for more than 100 years both on battlefields around the world and during times of peace. We are all so lucky to live in a free country, and we owe everything to those brave men and women who have made that a reality. I truly believe this is one way to say thank you, and another way is to go out and live a life worth fighting for. Spend time outside, enjoy your family, make memories, hunt, fish, shoot and spread a little love and kindness in this world.

Our freedoms can never be taken for granted and each and every one of us need to do our part in teaching the next generation the importance of thanking and recognizing our service members as the heroes they truly are. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to every service member and their family for keeping us safe and for allowing my family to live free and chase our dreams.

Watch this moving message from all of us at Winchester, and once again thank you.
