Women for Gun Rights (WGR) recently hosted an Elite Ambassador Academy at WOFT (Where Our Families Train/WOFT.com), bringing together high-profile women from diverse backgrounds for two days of hands-on safety training and open discussions about self-defense and the Second Amendment. The women in attendance collectively reach an audience of 22.5 million followers across their respective social media channels, making this event a powerful step forward in the fight to safeguard gun rights and champion responsible gun ownership.

The event welcomed participants from the mixed martial arts, fitness, politics, entertainment, hunting, fishing and the Olympic sports community—many of whom had never been involved in the firearms space before. While their audiences share values of strength and independence, many were unfamiliar with gun ownership and self-defense principles before this event.

The training focused on real-world safety scenarios to help attendees develop practical self-defense skills. Participants worked through physical confrontations, learned techniques to defend against carjackings, and built their confidence with live-fire exercises.

“The first step to understanding the importance of the Second Amendment is realizing how vulnerable you are in a real-life situation,” said Dianna Muller. “When a woman is put in a position where she must defend herself, she starts to think about what tool will level the playing field. More often than not, that leads her to consider a firearm.”

Beyond physical training, Women for Gun Rights led an interactive discussion on how to talk about gun ownership and the Second Amendment in a way that is both approachable and effective. The women in attendance—who collectively influence millions—are now better prepared to address tough conversations, counter misinformation, and present gun ownership as a fundamental right.

“At the end of the day, every human being wants to be safe. That’s the common ground we all share, no matter what side of the debate we’re on,” Muller continued. “Now, these women can take this experience back to their communities and help shape public opinion. They’re able to make self-defense conversations mainstream and show others that responsible gun ownership isn’t about politics—it’s about empowerment.”

The Elite Ambassador Academy is part of Women for Gun Rights’ broader mission to educate and empower women. By bringing influential voices into the conversation, WGR is expanding the reach of firearm education and ensuring that more women have access to the tools and knowledge they need to protect themselves.
