For 154 years, Winchester Ammunition has supported shotgunners with the world-class shotshells we need to shatter clays, and the year 2020 is no different. This year, Winchester’s support for the Amateur Trapshooting Association (ATA) is more welcome than ever. Nowhere is that more evident than at the ATA’s Grand American World Trapshooting Championships, which are taking place right now.

The 2020 Grand shooting events, which find their home at the Missouri Trap Shooters Association’s home territory in Linn Creek, Missouri. Thousands of NRA Women (and their friends and families, of course) are gathered there now for the 2020 Grand…and the AIM Grand Championships.

The AIM Grand Championships are a great opportunity for NRA Families to introduce junior shooters from elementary school up through college age to the sport of trapshooting. Competitors vie against others in their class in Singles, Doubles and Handicap Trap events. Once the AIM Championships are complete, the 11-day Grand American Trap Shoot commences.

Never heard of the ATA? As the largest clay target shooting organization in the world, the ATA was founded in 1900. Today, it governs the sport's rules and regulations and seeks ways to further enhance the sport and increase participation. With more than 900 ATA-affiliated gun clubs, you can get involved too!
