Team Krieghoff’s women shooters are busting clays and taking names this season. Only halfway through the year, Karen Shedd, Shelby Moon, Reanna Frauens, Lauren Burge, Lindsay Plesko, Deborah Ohye-Neilson and Kayle Browning have distinguished themselves as top contenders in their respective sports.

In sporting clays, Karen Shedd currently leads in the National Sporting Clays Association (NSCA) All-American points race, with teammates Shelby Moon and Reanna Frauens holding positions in the top 10. All three ladies brought fierce determination and practiced skill to the NSCA U.S. Open where Karen Shedd won the U.S. Open Lady title, with teammate Shelby Moon stepping up to the podium as U.S. Open Lady Runner Up. Reanna Frauens took home two U.S. Open Lady titles in Super Sport and 5-Stand.

Krieghoff’s skeet-shooting ladies impressed with multiple titles so far. Lauren Burge reigns as the 2021 Texas State Lady Skeet Champion, posting 100 straight in the 20- and 28-gauge events. Teammate Lindsay Plesko holds the Texas State Skeet Lady Runner Up title. Burge also earned a Lady Highest Overall (HOA) win at the 2021 NSSA Skeet Masters where Plesko scored a Lady 3rd win.

In terms of trap shooting, Deborah Ohye-Neilson is sitting at the top of the Amateur Trap shooting Association (ATA) All-American Lady 2 Trap Team points race. A perpetual champion, Ohye-Neilson was inducted into the ATA Trap Shooting Hall of Fame in 2005. She continues to dominate in competition since her first of 77 Grand American trophies in 1987. At the recent Pennsylvania State Shoot, she won both the Lady 2 HOA and HAA titles. Holding the Lady 2 All-American Captain title over 20 times in her career, Debbie sets the bar high for all trap shooters.

Kayle Browning took home a win at the Olympic Selection Match in Women’s Trap, meaning in a few short weeks, Kayle shoots her biggest match yet on the world stage at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.

Krieghoff International stated that it “Proudly recognizes the efforts, dedication and determination each Team Krieghoff member brings to their sport and congratulates our top lady shooters for their successes.” For more information on Krieghoff International and Team Krieghoff, visit Krieghoff.com.
