Inc. has announced that Silencer Central, America’s largest suppressor dealer, is No. 1309 on its annual Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in America. The list represents a one-of-a-kind look at the most successful companies within the economy’s most dynamic segment—its independent businesses.

“This is such an honor to receive,” said Silencer Central CEO Brandon Maddox. “It is extremely exciting to be featured on this list alongside so many other amazing brands. Over the last few years, we have experienced a tremendous amount of growth, and brand recognition. We will continue to raise the bar, set strategic goals, and push ourselves to new limits, offering firearm enthusiasts suppressors they need and want.”

The companies on the 2022 Inc. 5000 have not only been successful, but have also demonstrated resilience amid supply chain woes, labor shortages, and the ongoing impact of Covid-19. Among the top 500, the average median three-year revenue growth rate soared to 2,144 percent. Together, those companies added more than 68,394 jobs over the past three years.

“The accomplishment of building one of the fastest-growing companies in the U.S., in light of recent economic roadblocks, cannot be overstated,” says Scott Omelianuk, editor in chief of Inc. “Inc. is thrilled to honor the companies that have established themselves through innovation, hard work, and rising to the challenges of today.”

Silencer Central, which has become one of the largest Class 3 dealers, has made a name for itself over the past 17 years as the leading brand to offer compliancy, knowledge and community education in firearm sound suppression. As one of the sole retailers that focuses exclusively on silencers, the brand has been able to offer the highest focus to their development and sale. Staff members are continuously educated on all things silencers so that they may share that same knowledge with others in the firearms industry.

In addition to its overall ranking of 1,309, Silencer Central ranked third for all of South Dakota’s companies and second in Sioux Falls. Additionally, the brand recently celebrated the grand opening of its corporate headquarters in Sioux Falls, with the expectation of the continuous growth to come.
