Smoking Pumpkin Target

If there’s anything more fun than heading to the range with guns, ammunition and Halloween-themed targets, we haven’t heard of it. Although putting your front sight on a target that will clang, bounce or pop is always a good time, there’s just something special about chunkin’ a punkin’ on a crisp autumn day. That’s why today we’re sharing with you our favorite Halloween-themed shooting videos, starring the women of Smith & Wesson.

Where There’s Smoke…

Look at those pumpkins, just sitting there with those dumb looks carved in their faces. And didn’t anyone tell them that this is a no-smoking section of the range? This video was Smith & Wesson’s first official foray into the world of ballistic pumpkin carving…and it was also an invitation for their fans to join them in the fun.

…There’s Fire

This video, starring a Smith & Wesson fan and her 9mm M&P Julie Golob Special Edition pistol, was the winning entry that year. Winner Laura and her husband Tom took the prize in an enviable display of backyard Halloween marksmanship. Now that’s what we call fire!

Do We Smell Dinner?

Do you know what comes the day after Halloween (other than half-priced candy, of course)? Plans for Thanksgiving, that’s what ... and if you’re as tired as Smith & Wesson pro shooter Julie Golob is of struggling with the dinner rolls, you’ll love this video.

Does heading to the range to send some chunks of pumpkin back to the earth from whence they came sound good? Just ensure you’ve got a good backstop, eye and ear protection, plenty of ammo and smiles to spare. Happy Halloween!
