If there’s any one characteristic of an NRA Woman that stands out, it’s that we never quit … and the Women’s Outdoor Media Association (WOMA) has highlighted that fact for the last five years with its annual “She Never Quit” event. This year, WOMA celebrates all the women who never quit with their sixth annual SNQ shooting, training, mentoring and networking extravaganza, due to be held October 15 – 18 2020 at the Trinity Oaks Charity Thumbtack Ranch in Batesville, Texas. The good news for NRA Women readers who’d love to get involved is that they have a limited number of slots still available for the women’s outdoor adventure of your dreams.
If you haven’t guessed, She Never Quit is much more than a shooting competition or training event. Naturally, there will be training—world-class training, in fact, led by shooting legend Kay Miculek—who will offer instruction on various handguns, rifles and shotguns. But in addition to ample range time, the event boasts a variety of optional outdoor activities, including fishing, kayaking, hiking and more. Get ready to relax and recharge in comfort with the extensive ranch lodging and meals prepared by on-site gourmet chef, Emily Sprissler, a former Top Chef contestant.
Representatives from Umarex Airsoft will be on hand to assist with active shooter events, along with Buck Knives, which is hosting a hatchet and knife throwing program.
Throughout the event, attendees will have an opportunity to bid on a silent auction on a variety of products ranging from firearms to Caribbean vacations. All proceeds from the auction will benefit veteran’s charities, such as the Foundation for Women Warriors, Team Never Quit, Wreaths Across America and on-going charity programs at the Thumbtack Ranch.
The WOMA estimates that there will be 70 women in attendance, and there are a limited number of slots still available to attend the event at $1,200. The fee includes lodging, SWAG bag, meals, hosted bar, firearms training and many additional activities. Visit theWOMA.org and sign up under the “She Never Quit” charity event.
